Is it just me or is The Italicsa good name for a band? Is it already a band? Well, if it isn't, it will be now. Good question, huh?

I don't know if it's just you but it's certainly not me. Far too "ooh, we're polite and literary." As bad as The Auteurs.

I prefer The Bold, if we're going for so-crap-it's-good typeface nomenclature.

The Wingdings, The New Couriers, they could all be bands (but shite ones at that.)

Trebuchet MS.

Not that I'd actually name a band this, mind you. It just sounds cooler than The Bold or The Italics or The Times New Roman.

Is it just me, or does Arial sound like the name of a sensitive singer/songwriter?

I think this makes it a perfect name for a death metal band.

K(schwa)rn. Y'know, like a rap/metal hybrid. They could have an album named "Follow the Leading" and a single named "Pico on a Leash".

Trendy

Johnathan, Tuesday, 24 April 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think at the moment the trendy answer would be Din (surely already taken by some nu-metal act) or Bell Gothic (a little self-pigeonholing).
