'Bulletproof' video is visually fun EXCEPT her awful permanent-scowl/expression of disgust face (yet to see her smile). More offputting than the voice.

La Roux sitting at #2 for ages, Little Boots tipped to go straight in at #1. Trust ILM to lose all interest in girls doing electropop at the exact point they become massively popular.

La Roux is about the least interesting of all the new UK girl electropop crop.

La Roux is such a cunt but I love "Bulletproof".

I really really like the current La Roux single tho I had to look up who it was. I don't give a toss about their place within the genre or nothin' tho.

La Roux really isn't as bad as y'all are saying. Bulletproof is pretty okay

I like "Bulletproof" but she--and by 'she' i'm also referring to her face--is 100 percent indefensible

How come this only showed up on the US charts two months ago? I guess the Ting Tings had a similar delay with "That's Not My Name."

I still stand by this statement.

i think la roux is great despite their body of work as a whole not being as excellent as the first two singles -- really don't see what's so 'indefensible' about them. i am actually quite excited that bulletproof will be entering the top 10 of the hot 100 in a matter of weeks.

and by first two singles i really mean in for the kill and bulletproof, not quicksand and in for the kill

this still isnt as bad as when the uk discovered the cha cha slide like 5 yrs late

As far as my championing of thecocknbullkid upthread, that's only for the pre-album singles/outtakes. The album was a snooze.

"in for the kill" and "bulletproof" are both excellent/classic, altho the whole album is just kinda-maybe-good and i honestly wouldn't mind never hearing anything new from them again (i guess the whole elly-being-contemptible thing helps too)

I hate La Roux’s debut singles bur actually liked the Trouble in Paradise ones a lot and made me reconsider her. Seems the label and her fans didn’t like it as much which is a shame. Has she retired? It’s been a while.

Let me down gently, uptight downtown, sexoteque and tropical chancer are all better than her first singles by miles.
