i got enrolled as well, and this is my main email address. not pleased. i went to the group and left, but its made no difference. i still get them. so i'm having to rejoin, and then change it so that i look at messages on site instead of getting emails, hopefully this will work.

otherwise i will send gratuitous crap every 15 minutes i am online until i get banned

Gareth, I too got signed up... it's tricky cuz they send you a "confirm unsubscribe" email that you have to reply to in order to stop getting emails. So do that, wait an hour or so for it to process, and you'll be okay.
