He's the only person on ILM who loves Lou Reed more than me, so he gets my vote

bimble's always been a chum of mine. he's very passionate about music. it makes him happy.

Bimble is like the only ILXer I contact outside of the forum...he is always v. patient and polite in regards to the massive & irrelevant emails I send him...plus he starts great youtube threads, and he has backed me up in certain sticky situations...

he ain't that goth, but he loves Christopher Cross so he gets my vote

he's also always willing to indulge in my random tangents...

bimble seems like a good-hearted person who deserves to be happy

I like Bimble and applaud his posting style, which seemingly reflects his unrestrained love for music on a message board called I Love Music. However, I don't care for his presumptions about my level of gothness.

I wish I knew him. These posts have convinced me of his stupendousness.

I heart Bimble. I love when he bumbles drunkenly onto the Watercooler thread at 8 in the morning and starts going on about Bauhaus. Moments like that totally *MAKE* my ILX experience.

I can't say as I knew the guy, or for that matter really know anybody on ILX, but I recall getting some very jubilant emails from the dude when I slipped him some MP3s of "801 Live." Very sorry to hear this.

"Jubilant emails" sounds about right :) I miss those.

i just looked through my emails from him and remembered that he sent such a sweet, consoling email to me when my friend died of an overdose.

Also: "You'll laugh, but about 4 years ago when I lived on the upper floor of this house with a bunch of roomates...I found a cassette outside in the gutter that I could reach with my hand out the window (on the roof, you know) and it turned out to be the Rentals. Pretty cool, huh?"
