I'm going too! First time seeing either of the John's! My friends are big Vanderslice fans-I haven't really gotten into him much. I do like what little I've heard from the Mountain Goats, I've been meaning to get a couple of his albums for a while now.

Darn1elle put on a hell of a show- dude is quite the entertainer! I only recognized like three songs but I guess I gotta start picking up some of his albums...i know, i know... about time...My friend bought Heretic Pride on vinyl and she knows Vanderslice from past shows- he seemed like a nice dude but I felt bad that we were late and missed his set.
Cool you were there Scott- I've been a big fan since reading your great Sun Kil Moon review. Your enthusiasm and knowledge for music is inspiring and your threads here rarely fail to entertain!
