when i was 9 i developed asthma. On a holiday on the Algarve I was awake every night coughing and wheezing while British tourists in an adjacent hotel sang Red Red Wine. It was not one of my more pleasant times as a child.

LOL at this poll. Just so happens I'm back on a red wine kick tonight after enjoying a long phase of loving the pink rose wines, pink champagne, etc. Not sure why I got stuck on the pink stuff, that usually doesn't happen to me until summertime.

This is one of those songs like Aqualung where, after the opening, I just start making up all the lyrics and they work no matter what. Kind of like the scene in Safe Men where he's trying to sing 'Walk of Life.'
