listening after reading reynolds' blog on the guardian site - i dont know why but i quite like this. its totally unsubtle, bludgeoning, but i dont see whats so bad about that tbh. i hated that cockney thug track but caspa does this sort of thing very well. there can be good wobble, or meat and potatoes dubstep. and reynolds is kinda right in a way that this stuff is maybe the most lowbrow but also the strain of dubstep that sounds least like anything else.

I have a 100% no wobble policy now. Absolutely can't stomach any wobble tracks anymore.

i just got this in the mail - promo for the u.s. release - and they are trying to sell it - obviously - and i just can't imagine anyone in this country caring at all about it. but what do i know.
this is what puzzles me on here though:
"its totally unsubtle, bludgeoning"
this album is like the opposite of "bludgeoning".

i have a strange obsession with caspa and this stuff at the moment. cant seem to stop listening to it. its pretty compulsive. and a lot of FUN. and although some tracks in this vein are obv a bit dumb, its pretty cleverly done. really great riffs too. gives dubstep more of a hardcore rave element rather than the usual 'this is so DEEEEEP maaaaaan' moodiness.
