"Jim would always come up with these great titles and then he would write a song that would try to justify the greatness of the title."

My favorite record from about eleven to thirteen, and still awesome.

woops, I got the title backwards on the second track - but apparently I still remember the track order from memory.

"Jim would always come up with these great titles and then he would write a song that would try to justify the greatness of the title."

I believe this is how Chuck D. of Public Enemy wrote as well (title preceding song).

in any case, I'm going with "STOP RIGHT THEEEEEERRRREEEEEE........"

OK, my love of Meatloaf is one of my secret shames but I honestly don't understand how this could be anything other than Paradise.

yes.
will he offer me his teeth?
yes.
will he offer me his jaws?
yes.
will he offer me his hunger?
yes.

This is v.v. hard. Impossible, even. The title track deserves love, but oh man there isn't a weak track on here for real.

Tough choice, but: Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad

True story:

In my high school, there was this really awkward, completely socially inept kid named Daniel who was a wannabe teachers pet with all his teachers. When one of them(already the mother of two children) had a miscarriage, he NO LIE gave her a rose, a card and a 45rpm of "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad."

I hate this album with a passion. It's completely irrational, but to this day I can't even be in a room where this is playing. Even cover versions make me want to vomit.

The only time I've ever requested a song from a radio station was when I was about ten, called up some major ny station to request Paradise By The Dashboard Light. Then listened for like the next ten hours and the bastards didn't play it!

Anyway, Paradise By The Dashboard Light.

ended up voting "Heaven Can Wait."

OK, I just listened to Paradise about 4 times and goddammit I love this fucking song. It's a great one for karaoke too.
