In the autumn of 1991, I heard "Everything I Do (I Do It For You), about 20-30 times every week.

I was in a bar last night that played four Rage Against the Machine songs, not consecutively, within one hour.

congratulations (n/a), Tuesday, 19 May 2009 23:26 (seventeen years ago)

'everything i do' is a good song, albeit in that "i remember the tune being good but am not exactly going to seek it out now" way, but 'end of the road' is an AMAZING song

In high school seminary, a student had to give some little five-minute presentation at the start of each class (known as a 'devotional'). One kid, for his devotional, put a picture of Jesus on the wall and said, 'Now look at this picture while I play this song.' The song, of course, being the Adams joint in the thread title.

That shit is hard to sit through.

The existence of this song proves nothing but the abominable cruelty of God.

I was grounded to my room that summer and hearing this over and over again drove me to stop listening to 98 Rock, that's for sure.
