Worst Beach Boys Song on Friends - Part 10 in an Ongoing Series

toss up between Anna Lee and the TM song but everything on here is pretty great, neither of those are really bad songs per se

How can you suggest Little Bird? The "Nyahh, nyahh, nyah-nyah-nyah..." section is so great.

yeah but the verses are pretty terrible. i kind of like TM.

the outtake is good, but wouldn't be appropriate on the album imo

"Transcendeeeeeeeental Meditasheeeeeeuuun" which does the classic Beach Boys job of rudely fucking up the flow of an otherwise perfect album.

"Little Bird" is one of the few Dennis-lead tracks that I really enjoy.

I like TM but it does ruin the mellow vibe of the album. Voted Anna Lee.

Gotta love for "Trancendental Meditation" for being another example of Mike fucking with the formula. I actually don't like "Busy Doin' Nothin'" or "Diamond Head" much, that won't go down well with BeachBoyBores but what can you do?

Besides the main Beach Boys, who else is in the clouds on the cover? It looks like McCartney on the left.

I think it's just distorted images of the beach boys? the one on the right bottom looks very bruce johnson, brian wilson behind him. maybe it's meant to be younger versions of them?

i always thought it was pictures of their Friends, you know, given the title. i never thought about it, but that does look like McCartney on the left

I always interpreted this record as being the band + their friends, and I definitely thought that was mccartney on the left. I also thought it was burt bacharach on the right, but seeing as I bought this record before I ever knew what he looked like, I have no idea why

I like everything on Friends. Don't think I voted in this, probably would have chosen When A Man Needs a Woman. TM is cool and weird, like the Beach Boys were possessed by the spirits of King Crimson.

Little Bird and Diamond Head are one of the main reasons to listen to this album. Used to have a thing about inserting Diamond Head into so many mixtapes; usually in front of some Black Dice or something.
