Mungo Jerry really are one of the greats of the indie guitar genre.

Brio, Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:45 (sixteen years ago)

West Oxfordshire District, Ethnicity: 98.4% White

Enemy Insects (NickB), Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:45 (sixteen years ago)

Whitest place on the planet?

Enemy Insects (NickB), Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:45 (sixteen years ago)

Honestly, I thought Paul Carrack had died.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:46 (sixteen years ago)

Oh Puntopaws:

From songs written, jammed in Smids room to playing live tunes the Feef were born in July/August 2007 when Smid n Frazer still lived in Blazin Heights. Needin a drummer Smid n Kev recruited Mr Grimes for some jammage and Frazer came along to play bass. The rest as they say is history. Punto, however erratic, shambolic, or heroic some gigs became the standard was set and the passion undeniable. Fame Fame Fatal Fame? Don't forget what world you're in. A kid's gotta get out!

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:48 (sixteen years ago)

Major label guitars suck, dude.

I'm liking the Random Capitalisation in the Promotional Advertisement.

Enemy Insects (NickB), Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:48 (sixteen years ago)

We discussed this before, and nominated it "least likely to actually happen festival" or something.

Mark G, Wednesday, 20 May 2009 15:52 (sixteen years ago)

I briefly toyed with the idea of polling the whole advert, but tbh it's not much of a contest.

WE'RE SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT THIS FESTIVAL HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE THE BAD ECONOMIC CLIMATE

Brilliant one-size-fits-all cop-out excuse there.

I thought Paul Carrack had died too.

Jimmy Pursey Thrower (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 20 May 2009 23:04 (sixteen years ago)

Okay Ned, apparently it's Paul Young out of Mike & the Mechanics who died. That's why we get confused.
