Looking for some suggestions of these, particularly from the 60s/early 70s (but other decades welcome). The Beatles ones are too well known to mention, but thinking of more like:

I own this album from 1966, which has instrumental sitar-lead versions of 60s pop hits like "Downtown", "Eleanor Rigby", and "Guantanamera". It's kinda awesome, don't know how hard it is to find though.
