Can anyone beat Midnight Sun's "Metal Gods" for sheer grooviness? I would love it if you could.

This is AWESOME. It's the music I've been praying for - the techno-metal stuff I've been banging on about wanting to hear for years on ILM. It's arrived!! Thank you, Satan. And thank you too, Scott.

Also, I'd like to add this: Judas Priest, this band exists only because you could have gone there, but didn't.

the "metal on the dancefloor" part doesn't kick in till about 1:30 or so, but it's worth the wait.

also, that midnight sun song is cool and all, but how does it resemble techno exactly?

"Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!"

Aka y another damned by faint praise thread.

It's yummy. Especially the vocals and the drums.

NOTHING will beat the first song on the following IMO:

Sounds like watered down Blind Guardian to me.

that's DHG's Apocalypticism

when I saw the thread topic, I was hoping to hear something like a cross between Andrew W.K. and Who's Fist is this Anyway? with a little White Zombie or Rammstein thrown in somewhere.

I guess this is closer to hard rock, but still...
