In the Back of My Mind gets my vote for being just a bit too over-the-top maudlin in the vocal delivery, and the sorta jazzy chord progression doesn't work all that well

yeah, that is a weird one, but I like it because it's Dennis trying to sing in that maudlin, ballad-y way, but not really knowing how to do it. something kind of moving about it, even though it's super awkward.

dance dance dance is a little uninspired lyrically, but musically it's nuts -- i think there's an instrumental version on the box set? sorta crazy rhythmic things going on there.
