45% on each. Stupidly got the new order question wrong though.

I got 60 something on the first and 40 something on the second.

The Devo question is a bit of a trick cos the answer is Mongoloid b/w Jocko Homo, OK so Mongoloid is the A-side but Jocko Homo is still on it.

Will hav to try this tomorrow.

Re: the Devo single. True that "Jocko Homo" was the b-side on the first single, but it was also released later on its own.

I think these are good because they use braodly-known acts, but don't rehash well known trivia (Monkees -> Liquid Paper) Satisfyingly difficult, in that in each there were about 5 questions that I wanted to be sure about, but wasn't at all. I liked the ones like "Elton John's best-selling album", where you can infer the answer without being an actual fan.

Oh whoops! Wikipedia only listed the a-sides in the discography. I knew the US release was A:Mongoloid/B:Jocko Homo because I once owned a copy, but I didn't know the UK release of Jocko Homo had Mongoloid on its b-side.

i wouldn't say that the quiz was too hard. anyway, a lot of interesting stuff there in comparison to the majority of shitty quizzes on facebook, so i think that justifies the difficulty.

Since Facebook's makeover, it seems harder to find my old quizzes. And not a lot of folks took them anyway. Not only that, I just got a note from a "friend" asking me to please cut out the quizzes (they get notified everytime I take one, I suppose). To that point, though -- isn't that kinda like going to a circus and complaining about the clowns? It's fucking Facebook! It's SUPPOSED to be a juvenile waste of time, no?

I tried one of these once, got all the answers right, but still a lower score than my friend who isn't as much of a music nerd as I am. That pissed me off. One more reason I hate Facebook.

Exactly.

The only thing I can think of is that it was some kind of time-sensitive scoring system. Not a factor in most Facebook quiz apps.

Well, that's the only solution I could come up with. FWIW, I think it was some kind of 80's One Hit Wonder quiz. I don't have my FB password here at work, but I'll try these when I get home.

That's well above the average on both.

One reason I've hated Survivor since the beginning is that it stole Jeff Probst away from Rock N Roll Jeopardy on VH1. I could have blazed on that show! (I'd like to think so anyway)
