My friend has set up a cool blog based around a mixtape that her Iranian father made 33 years ago by taping songs off Iranian radio, Sublime Frequencies style. Some of them were pretty mainstream pop standards of the time, but others were real obscurities. There's one song left... can anyone possibly place it?:

wow. a friend of mine grew up in Iran and when he moved here had all kinds of black-market tapes that had been his only exposure to western music. we used to give him massive shit about being a huge Roberta Flack fan. cosmic justice came to me years later when I became a huge Roberta Flack fan, the end.
