showbiz. i was pretty into these guys round then, before the histrionics took over. the singles from origin are still good but i'd well and truly lost interest by the third album

Origin of Symmetry gets my vote, in fact that album should make my Top 100 list for this decade. the only album i don't really like is Showbiz.

i discovered them w/ absolution and the other albums really didn't do it for me like that one did. now i don't even listen to them!

Origin is the campiest, catchiest and spikiest, so it wins. Absolution is too pompous and Black Holes doesn't bring the choons. ("Supermassive" is great, though.)
