Wiley - Race Against Time

This albums is pretty good. He seems to have avoiding over-correcting after his big disowned pop move, which is good. This is pretty varied, some dancey stuff, although none goes as far or is as good as "Wearing My Rolex" and a lot of stuff where he just straight-up spits, and he's just totally killing it on that stuff. "Off the Radar" is incredible:

I downloaded this today but haven't got round to listening to it. I'm happy that Too Many Man is one there - is there anything else particularly housey on there?

haven't listened to this yet but 'where's my brother?' is so so good

There's at least one other housey song ("The Olly"), but it isn't as good.

Cosign on "Where's My Brother?", which isn't even one of the best songs.

Blimey, this is pretty good! It's like he decided to finally sharpen his flow and focus exclusively on his earliest and most recent personas (emotionless robot over minimalist clanking beats and bubbly raving with JME and Skepta, respectively).

feel a bit guilty but Off The Radar made me wanna embed 'I'm Black Y'all' from CB4 (no good rip of it on youtube tho wtf)

even with the bubbly raving tracks though he still sounds like an emotionless robot. the too many man wiley cant match the fluidity of wiley on know we etc. robot is a very good way to describe wiley though. theres never any real emotion to his voice a lot of the time. quite monotone? its just this unending kind of heartless desperation all the time but he just keeps on going and going and going lol.

I'm sort of obsessed with Off The Radar - so incessant and mechanistic. Also Wiley's flow has rarely sounded so good, it makes you think how amazing his previous releases could have been.

Enjoying the sheer goofy stupidity of The Olly as well. Needs a donk on it maybe.
