All of the tracks on here that I really love are almost all better live, IMHO, but in the end I voted for Sex, God, Sex.

my favorite stuff on here is the jarboe material - torn btw "blackmail" or "in my garden"

I saw them on the Children of God tour; they were the single most powerful live experience of my life. Every snare hit was like a cannon going off, and they were so slow you had plenty of time to dread the next one coming.

Say what you will, but you know as well as I do that it's a technicality. Gira said it himself over a decade ago: Swans Are Dead. If they come back to life, it's a reunion as far as I'm concerned.

^^^OTM. I've given it careful thought and I just can't do it. It's not a matter of two songs against each other, or three. It's pretty much the entire damn record.
