Hank Locklin. Thank god for those Time/Life (esque?) infomercials (which I can watch forever) else I wouldn't know most of these.

"Please Help Me, I'm Falling", though I don't know "Alabam" or Cowboy Copas (great name though!). But the Locklin song is great, a stately honky-tonk piano, and a lyric that's like a prayer.

My mom used to sing "He'll Have To Go" around the house all the time, but since we never owned the record (and I would have hated anything non-rock at that age anyway) I didn't end up hearing the original until many years later. Great song; my band plays it occasionally.
