Dark Rye Bread started all the excitement. I got a nice personal compilation from a dude in Sacramento that i made a mix tape for once, via a yahoo list. That was years ago.

People have been pretty responsive to the two recent James Ferraro solo records on Holy Mountain. More synth/sampler/equencer based stuff, less on the reverbed distorto vocal drone.

Ferraro has a massive solo catalog. I've only heard the Last American Hero lp - which I like very much. There's just so much to search for. Any recommendations on his solo stuff would be appreciated. Let alone, just trying to find the stuff will be a challenge.

Sort of I guess but like inadvertently. Monopoly Child Star Searchers (Spencer from Skaters) stuff is really good. Skaters were pretty unheralded in their time but I thought they brought a nice sensibility to that 00s noise scene. Didn't know how good we had it with the Axolotl/Skaters/Yellow Swans era tbh.
