I only have one Mike Gunn LP, cuz i'm a Charalambides obsessive, but I hardly ever listen to it.

as for ex-cbides, I can't say enough for the Migrantes LPs on Eclipse. Both are stellar listens--featuring Jason Bill, of Market Square-era Charalambides.

Dunlavy is one of the guys from The Mike Gunn but dont have any links for it.

I also own - but rarely play - that Durban Poison LP, also because of the Charlambides connection. Probably unfairly dismissed it on account of it sounding pretty much nothing like Charalambides. I bought it at the same time as a (live?) s/t Linus Pauling Quartet record, which I think was pretty good. Need to drag that out again.

And I always confuse the Linus Pauling Quartet with the Irving Klaw Trio.

Sad Pygmy and Rusted Shut do more garage and noise (respectively) versions of this general style.

Seek ye ST37 and all she sails with: Book of Shadows, Abigail und Hansel, Venison Whirled, Jherri Signfeld's Atrophied Sackque. Good ol' post-Buttholian psychedelic shit. Cubensis in the cow-patty.

yeah i forgot about ST37, got a cd by them, good stuff.

they also have an excellent split LP with the aforementioned Vocokesh, who can do no wrong in my eyes.
