Seriously I had to re-experience this album again recently on a walk in the graveyard. I hadn't heard it since '92 I'm sure. "Hook In Her Head" is pretty incredible and the drums and weird ass bass riff are definitely culprits.
"Not Too Soon" has already been there and done that, grand as it may be for the uninitiated, but "Honeychain" made me such a goddamn happy camper I might just vote for it.
Also..."Two Step"...historically whenever I have gotten to the end of this album, I always find myself backing up and playing that song at least one more time on its own, if not repeatedly. This time when it happened, I found myself in the veteran's section of the graveyard. It was wonderful. From WWI to Vietnam. Can't beat it. I saw a man's name who died on the same day I was born, Vietnam. I just don't think we humans really mean a whole lot in the scheme of things.
