i don't mean like finding some bargain CDs and selling on ebay but like getting a bunch of CDs from one store, walk one block to the next and trade-in for profit.

Not around here, unless you find some gems and happen to find a store that knows their shit. Average used CD price in Chicago suburban stores, $8.99. Average offer for a used CD in any of these same stores, 50 cents.

both! got rid of everything and have been slowly picking through stuff i've had for a while and never properly listened through, fully tagging stuff to make shuffling better.
