Rev. Lovejoy: Homer, I'd like you to remember Matthew 7:26. "A foolish man who who built his house on sand."

Homer: And you remember... Matthew ... 21:17!

Rev. Lovejoy: "And he left them and went out of the city into Bethany and he lodged there"?

Homer: Yeah... Think about it!

So, I picked up my copy of this from the local record store this morning. Love love love tMG.

Also, John & co. were on The Colbert Report tonight! I walked in the moment the interview was over because I was posting here, but I caught the performance at the end, and it was fantastic. So good to see one of my favorite bands on my favorite TV show.

Well I wish I'd known that before I ordered. I am impressed with this record but as always reluctant to talk about it on here, it's like when the professor sets you the edition of the book with his own introduction but no one in the class wants to mention it

His best since The Sunset Tree.

Wow John D. on the Colbert Report! And I remember getting his tapes from Ajax records in high school. Yah for The Mountain Goats! The video made me laugh in public.
