Anyone into Manchester Orchestra?

Mean Everything to Nothing is pretty dang good. Am I wrong to think that it sounds like Wilco if they'd been raised on Emo?

Still enjoying this record a lot...

Saw them open for Brand New because I am relentlessly emo, I bleed black blood through my teeth, etc. They were impressive, but the songs didn't stick, they just sort of approximated "epic" in the air. A friend posted "Shake it Out" to Facebook the other day and I generally don't listen to my friends on Facebook about music, I mean, you know how it is.

But suddenly there was stickage! There is this whole back half to the song that sounds like Muse if Muse were any good—you know, that whole consciously cathartic colliding guitars thing that is no longer a mere theoretic construct but something achievable in practice as well. Thank you Manchester Orchestra for your pioneering work in this field.
