Toby Mac is Excellent saw him at Spirit West Coast he rocked the house he stayed true to who he is in Christ one of the best performer their, don't want to talk bad about anyone but i was let down when i was family force 5 when he said shake your butt to Jesus and then played more butty in your pants by tlc that truly disappointed me they are more mainstream to me the who they are in Christ so toby continue to stand strong in the Lord and be true to him in everything you do. It must really be rough to be a Christian band. One slip of "butt" or something and half your fanbase turns on you.

Shane Ochsner, Josh Silbernagel, Chris Schwartz and Jerik Hendrickson collectively are Hands, a Fargo band that combines circling atmospheric guitars punctuated with hard hitting progressions. They are a band in which rock and roll meets ambient hardcore and warm silvery singing rivals hardcore screams. Their songs are carefully crafted and layered with hope and strength, their evocative lyrics and emotional vocals leave Hands open-hearted to listeners. In songs hailed by Alternative Press Magazine as "wave after wave of musical awesomeness," Ochsner's voice carries seamlessly from throaty growl to melodic yell and settles beautifully into sweet harmony.Since forming in 2007 Hands have desired to present a passionate and intense live show. Now, two years later, they offer a performance that is characterized by what drummer Josh Silbernagel calls "beautiful chaos." Hands unfurl hugely anthemic prog-rock ballads bearing the influence of Isis while at the same time laying out solidly progressive hardcore tracks inspired by bands such as Life In Your Way and Misery Signals."Creator" was engineered by producer Mike Dresch at Cathouse Studios (Nodes Of Ranvier, The Spill Canvas, War Of Ages), who also produced the band’s previous record "The Sounds Of Earth".

Awesome! Very cool group. I also just want to say, Thank You Lord, for inspiring people of different walks to create music for EVERY ear. I know a lot of people don't like this kind of music, and that's okay. I won't judge you because you don't like it; only God has the right to judge you and me. Just one question: If people really enjoy this music, and it brings those people closer to Christ and fills them with the Holy Spirit, tell me how this is evil/bad/wrong/sinful? - Randy H.

"nodes of ranvier" is a hilarious name for a band

I do find it interesting how many Christian metal bands manage to break the mainstream, at least compared to other genres of Christian music.

probably due to the fact that metal's always been underpinned with loads of Xtian imagery

there's a big difference between bands who happen to be christian (black sabbath/trouble etc) and actual christian metal bands though.
