Wasn't sure if I should post here or ILE...I am looking to compile a mix by using itunes...and I want to then make said mix into a mediafire/sendspace/whatever file so that I can send it to a few buddies.I have no idea how to do this. Not very savvy when it comes to shit like this? Help?

You want it be one big file with overlapping songs? If you are on a Mac, open GarageBand, and drag the songs from iTunes. It will put them on separate tracks, and you can nudge them back and forth to get the play order. You need mixing software to combine them all into one track. There are other packages out there, but GarageBand ships with most Macs.

Windows has an archiving program built into it, right? If you can't find it, just download WinRar -- http://www.rarlab.com/ -- and you'll be able to zip/rar anything you want with a right-click.

In iTunes create a new playlist. Drag mp3s to list. Listen. Approve. Zip/Rar mp3s. Post to web. Voila.

The other missing step is to select all on the play list and drag them to a folder on the desktop, and zip the contents of the folder.
