Because he has been generally crap since the late 80s, people forget how good some of the earlier solo stuff actually was.

Where the fuck is Another Day In Paradise? Now, don't get me wrong, this isn't a great song but when I got my first radio (and my first ever record Now 17) this was the PHil Collins song that was on the radio, and was covered in an Italo-House stylee by some band or other. I always liked the little synth riff, and I always found it laughable that Tory boy Collins was singing about helping the homeless.

I haven't forgotten. The first 3 albums, and all his soundtrack/one-off singles prior to ...But Seriously are much beloved. xp

There are obviously way too many 90s singles here. Should have made space for some more earlier ones instead.

The "No Jacket Required" singles are all great. Also "Two Hearts"

lots of good phil collins jams, but "in the air tonight" is one of my favorite songs of all time so that has to get the vote. i can't really explain why i love PC so much (i even love his era of Genesis!), but i do. very weird.

"In The Air Tonight" is sort of pop-world historical and there's no excuse to not vote for it except "Against All Odds" is sublime and "Take Me Home" is prolly my fave Phil Collins song just to, like, listen to, you know?

"Against All Odds" is so good it makes me wish Stevie Wonder lost the Oscar in 1984 (provided he would be promised a win in 1991 for any given Jungle Fever song).

It would be nice if Heric E. let us know how he left off "Another Day In Paradise".
Otherwise the tracklisting, barring a couple 90's duds, makes for a good Phil compilation.

Gonna vote "Billy Don't Lose My Number" cause it was like my fav song from No Jacket Required and I have very fond memories of it. Plus it's got a killer intro.
