it's like it's programmed by someone who actually pays attention to music and is kind of creative!

heave imho (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 6 August 2009 10:03 (sixteen years ago)

one year passes...

i assume that this is like what "mtv jams" is like? wish i had that channel

ain't no half-trollin (J0rdan S.), Friday, 5 November 2010 07:54 (fourteen years ago)

i do like amtv quite a bit when i have the time to watch it

teledyldonix, Friday, 5 November 2010 19:43 (fourteen years ago)

and yes it is a bit like the mtv subgenre channels, mtv jams and mtv hits and such

teledyldonix, Friday, 5 November 2010 19:45 (fourteen years ago)

i like mtv jams tho it pisses me off that they don't do track IDS for songs a lot of times

amtv has been playing random 90's stuff lately.. I saw "Juicy" the other night, and "Longview" the night before that.. no explanation.

billstevejim, Saturday, 6 November 2010 06:53 (fourteen years ago)

cause those are well-loved songs by artists who remain very popular?

kkkvagz (The Reverend), Saturday, 6 November 2010 08:11 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah that makes perfect sense, and they're hugely welcomed but I find it unusual for mtv to play anything other than new music rotation unless its part of a "90s" block or part of some themed specialty show.

billstevejim, Sunday, 7 November 2010 00:51 (fourteen years ago)

yeah popular old videos has always been part of the AMTV steez, which is the one thing that it has on MTV Hits etc., which are what i channel surf to constantly

lil bow bow (some dude), Sunday, 7 November 2010 00:53 (fourteen years ago)

why the hell is mtv jams playing four red cafe videos in a row? i mean "paper touchin'" is a classic tho and this "i'm ill" song is kinda dope but...

kkkvagz (The Reverend), Monday, 8 November 2010 08:00 (fourteen years ago)

blogosfeer of a black planet (J0rdan S.), Friday, 19 November 2010 09:50 (fourteen years ago)

lol they spend the last like 2:30 of this video dripping wet for no reason

blogosfeer of a black planet (J0rdan S.), Friday, 19 November 2010 09:51 (fourteen years ago)

hahahah the last half of that video is CLASSIC. completely shameless.

teledyldonix, Friday, 19 November 2010 17:40 (fourteen years ago)

lol they spend the last like 2:30 of this video dripping wet for no reason

i remember reading about how late '90s boy bands would intentionally make mega-homoerotic videos until they grabbed that female fanbase, just in case they wound up having to settle for a male one. which is why the ladies show up in "as long as you love me."

da croupier, Friday, 19 November 2010 19:02 (fourteen years ago)

That's kinda really creepy but Lou pearlmen was involved...

It also makes sense if he just wanted to see bsb dripping wet for 2:30

blogosfeer of a black planet (J0rdan S.), Friday, 19 November 2010 19:06 (fourteen years ago)

lol where have I been and why didn't I know about Pearlman's Ponzi scheme until now

ali-baba-boob-job-bomb.jpg (DJP), Friday, 19 November 2010 19:07 (fourteen years ago)

That's kinda really creepy but Lou pearlmen was involved...

The European groups were doing it plenty, too.

da croupier, Friday, 19 November 2010 19:14 (fourteen years ago)

I remembered the name of that group from the SPIN article where I read about all this years ago...man, were they going for it.

da croupier, Friday, 19 November 2010 19:15 (fourteen years ago)

according to wikipedia that was their first video, too...later ones on youtubes feature female foils.

da croupier, Friday, 19 November 2010 19:19 (fourteen years ago)

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 November 2010 10:18 (fourteen years ago)

good god. i watched a zit cream commercial instead.

The Reverend, Tuesday, 30 November 2010 06:33 (fourteen years ago)
