Jacques. Braxe has had some amazing moments but is a bit of one-trick pony - JLC from 2002 through to early 2006 nigh-on unstoppable and really diverse.

Then again Alan Braxe has never produced Keane or Frankmusik so it's a bit of a trade-off.

in a weird 2005 mood today - something about the pre Calvin Harris era pulling me back

you picked the single worst thing Braxe has ever been involved with by some distance there (the original instrumental 'Addicted' is fine tho)

probably should've included Falke in this but too complicated. had this in my head again lately, three chord pad is all it takes

MAtt DC otm. JLC has so many more classic remixes to his name - his earlier stuff (Beck, Placebo, Cornershop, etc) was really ahead of the curve - but none of his production work since Madonna has been up to scratch. Last great remix - Coldplay in 2006 I guess.

Another opportunity to plug Braxe & Falke's phenomenal remix of DFA 1979.

i think braxe's post-golden period shit stuff is as bad as jlc's, it's just that not as many people noticed

then again, frankmusik ugh

JLC did that Madonna album. He wins.

JLC has dozens of good-to-great remixes, plenty of excellent production work, his solo Les Rythmes Digitales stuff.

Even if Braxe could take sole credit for his best work, JLC would win. (Plus a lot of the Zoot Woman stuff is pretty great too.)
