Looks like Woodstock 50 is in turmoil already. Initial reports were that investors had pulled out and the festival was cancelled, and now it's been announced that the organisers are gonna stubbornly press on with it.

Woodstock as a cultural reference is pretty dated at this point. Who’s buying tickets to festivals these days and do they know what Woodstock even was, maybe a bunch of hippies dancing around and music and performances that mostly suck in retrospect?

25 felt like maybe a natural progression , like a generational thing. Though it tried too hard (or not hard enough?) to both embody its namesake and distinguish itself.
