Steve Winwood - Higher Love

Which one is the more classy.

Stop to Love has classy productions, catchy synth line and LUTHER. This should have
crossed him over into the pop.

Higher love has more extensive production. The song goes into a long bridge and turns
from pseudo-R&B to pop.

I like Steve Winwood, but 'Higher Love' I've always found kind of annoying and shallow. I really hate those horns. 'Stop To Love' is wonderful, as is anything I've ever heard by Luther Vandross. You say it should have crossed him over, and I've heard this said before about Luther Vandross - that he was was not quite a commercial success. I'd always assumed his '80s songs were big pop chart hits, and some of them certainly were here in the UK, but maybe less so in the US.

"Stop To Love," easy. It's perky and light in the best way, with Vandross' voice like froth.
