While a sad Plaid?

I have had the While album, Even (chocolate industries) knocking about for half a year and although the first track is brilliant, all crackling noises, the rest of the album degenerates into quite complex, but morose melodic avenues. For me sad electronic music is possible the most effective genre to use if you want to evoke those long forgotten Sunday night feelings: "oh no school tomorrow". Part of me thinks "keep with it and everything will appear", on the otherhand part of me wants to chuck it in the bin and wack Bogdan Rysanski (mispelt, I know) on and leap about like a nutter. One final note, most of the melodies distort to fuck. Search ---I might actually begin to like it. Destroy--- Cheer up While.Bother me with happy music

Any opinions or cheerful suggestions?

is this meant to be about Plaid? i love the p-brane ep but i got 'double figure' and it was filled with all sorts of jazz nonsense and 'soulful?' vocals, horrid! is the new album more like p-brane then? if this isn't about plaid then nevermind.

Squance, motherfuckers. And some nintendo sounding remix they did of nine inch nails back when I knew who nine inch nails were and not plaid.

Well, having loved Double Figure for over a year, I can safely say there are only two tracks that could be even remotely considered to feature 'jazz nonsense' or 'soulful vocals', and they are the last two on the album.

i think monstatruk is talking about this

maybe putting some ironed clothes on and waking up before 3pm and brushing their teeth would help. also some bouncy track titles would do the trick. i mean how cheerful is something called "lost4" going to be?

matt, maybe you are right, but double figure is still rotten almost as if they are trying to sound like a proper band. i listened to another older record as well and it was not much better, i suppose i will just need to live with p-brane.
