The Sunlandic Twins is the seventh album by indie pop band of Montreal. The album continues further into the more electronic territory first explored on 2004's Satanic Panic in the Attic. It was recorded almost entirely by Kevin Barnes, the band's singer and songwriter, in Athens, GA and Oslo, Norway throughout 2004.

I sort of overdosed on this album when I first heard it and can't really stomach much OM at the moment. That said, "So Begins Our Alabee" is without question my favorite song on this album. It just makes me happy. I can't tell you how many times I put this on repeat and danced around my apt.

I really like to practice my Norwegian on poor, befuddled waitresses who shake their heads completely at a loss.. but I am with ENBB, I can't get over the awesomeness of Alabee. Which I believe is the name of the Barnes' poor daughter!
