Street Spirit, pretty easily.

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 27 August 2009 02:34 (sixteen years ago)

As much as I'd like to avoid a "Street Spirit" massacre, it probably deserves as many votes as all the other tracks combined. Voted accordingly.

Street Spirit for me too.

EZ Snappin, Thursday, 27 August 2009 02:41 (sixteen years ago)

"Street Spirit."

Life in a Glasshouse

Turangalila, Thursday, 27 August 2009 02:51 (sixteen years ago)

The version of "Videotape" they were playing during their 2006 tour is one of their best songs.

BUT we're talking albums here, so: As much as I love "Wolf At The Door" and, yeah, "Street Spirit," my vote goes to "Motion Picture Soundtrack."

kshighway, Thursday, 27 August 2009 03:03 (sixteen years ago)

Videotape circa 2006

street spirit is more of a grabber but videotape is pretty epic. tough one.

^ dammit the time hack didn't work out on my youtube embed... just skip to 17m58s on the vid.

Moka, Thursday, 27 August 2009 03:22 (sixteen years ago)

If they had released that version of Videotape instead of the one they did release, In Rainbows might have had the best Radiohead closing track after "Motion Picture Soundtrack."

kshighway, Thursday, 27 August 2009 03:28 (sixteen years ago)

Wolf at the Door though I love Glasshouse and Motion Picture...

ColinO, Thursday, 27 August 2009 04:26 (sixteen years ago)

Nobody likes The Tourist :(

billstevejim, Thursday, 27 August 2009 04:42 (sixteen years ago)

It's the best album closer ever.. even if you think Street Spirit is a better song, the album still could have been sequenced differently, whereas The Tourist could not have shown up anywhere else..

billstevejim, Thursday, 27 August 2009 04:44 (sixteen years ago)

I like the tourist. Just not as much as street spirit or videotape :-)

all yoga attacks are fire based (rogermexico.), Thursday, 27 August 2009 04:48 (sixteen years ago)

The Tourist is my favourite track on OK Computer and easily edges out Street Spirit.

anagram, Thursday, 27 August 2009 05:18 (sixteen years ago)

"Street Spirit" just ahead of "The Tourist". Nothing else is even worth considering.

Tied Up In Geir (Geir Hongro), Thursday, 27 August 2009 10:18 (sixteen years ago)

Wolf At The Door.

Tuncay Stryder (Matt DC), Thursday, 27 August 2009 10:19 (sixteen years ago)

BLOW it OUT yer ass

ledge, Thursday, 27 August 2009 11:53 (sixteen years ago)

Blow out = air guitar heroics
Street Spirit = enabling guitarsturbation since 1995
The Tourist = #1 anticlimactic album closer of all time

and then I got off the radiohead bus

ledge, Thursday, 27 August 2009 11:55 (sixteen years ago)

"The Tourist". "Street Spirit" means nothing to me.

Freedom, Thursday, 27 August 2009 12:10 (sixteen years ago)

The Tourist, Street Spirit is a drudge.

wtf. That song is just the perfect closer to a dystopian album about the pressures brought to bear by work and technology. It's vast, glacial, heart-stopping. Idiot, slow down....

anagram, Thursday, 27 August 2009 12:53 (sixteen years ago)

The Tourist vs Wolf at the Door.

chap, Thursday, 27 August 2009 12:58 (sixteen years ago)

The Tourist Street Spirit, Street Spirit The Tourist is a drudge.

You must have accidentally mixed these up. No worries, I fixed it all up for you.

OK Computer should've ended with "No Surprises."

kshighway, Friday, 28 August 2009 03:06 (sixteen years ago)

I love "The Tourist" A LOT but the ending of LIAGH destroys me.

Turangalila, Friday, 28 August 2009 03:33 (sixteen years ago)

Is he saying "only only" or "lonely lonely"?

kshighway, Friday, 28 August 2009 03:36 (sixteen years ago)

Or just being completely fucking inarticulate!

kshighway, Friday, 28 August 2009 03:36 (sixteen years ago)

voted for the Tourist, but I am glad this poll made me revisit Blow Out. What a great track.

Wow I though Kid A would do better in this one.

Evan, Friday, 4 September 2009 00:20 (sixteen years ago)

all that silence on the track hurt it in the poll imo

some dude, Friday, 4 September 2009 00:23 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah, probably.

Evan, Friday, 4 September 2009 00:25 (sixteen years ago)

plus the fact it's schmaltzy and kinda not very interesting

Moka, Friday, 4 September 2009 23:45 (sixteen years ago)

you had to be there really...

Mark G, Friday, 4 September 2009 23:51 (sixteen years ago)

OK Computer should've ended with "No Surprises."

That would be weird.. Regardless as to whether or not it's a better song, it doesn't build to a finale like "The Tourist" does.. and there's even a "ping" at the end!
