Did anyone catch the Daily Mirror today? George is releasing a single called "Howdy Poodle" lampooning Blair's shamless licking of Dubya's pert, terrorist-with-a-huge arse(nal).

one year passes...
I seem to recall in the lead-up to war in Iraq, Michael sparred with Iain Duncan-Smith (& the world says now, 'who's he?' ;-)) on the Today programme on the subject. Acquitted himself pretty well I recall.
He does seem to have become a bit of an unlikely firebrand...!
When is he going to release a new album? It's been 7 years since 'Older'... he is certainly one of the brighter talents of the mid-80s pop ascendancy (i.e. post New Pop).
