I was thinking this needed a separate thread, only a few folks commented on yesterday's revive! So sad but what a life lived, and what songs!

Aw naw, no' Annoni oan an' aw noo (Tom D.), Thursday, 27 August 2009 14:45 (sixteen years ago)

I was astonished when I first started paying attention to songwriting credits as well as band credits and discovered how many of them included her name.

I mean, to see Barry/Greenwich on the production credits of anything is pretty much a guarantee of quality.

This woman is responsible for such a huge amount of my music collection it's not even funny.

RIP.

The Wild Shirtless Lyrics of Mark Farner (C. Grisso/McCain), Thursday, 27 August 2009 19:47 (sixteen years ago)

This morning, I saw a TV reporting this at a service station, on subtitles.

Apparently, she was involved in writing songs such as "Leader of the Pack", and "bmibaby"
