As with 1991 Grammy Awards Record of the Year poll (and 1971, 1985, and 2002 before that). This is a pretty good lineup if you ask me: very adult, obv., even the Elvis. The Grammy went to Percy Faith.

Legends!! Well, maybe not Percy Faith but to a certain demographic he might be.

Ella killed this one, it's the one where she forgets the lyrics and improvises them live onstage in Berlin. One of the great performances in a still-underrated career.

Tough call between Ella and Frank, but since I heard "Nice 'n' Easy" first and know it better, Frank. That's a good song for singing babies to sleep.

Going with "Theme From A Summer Place," and if people think I'm challoping, fuck'em. (It's the only one of these I own on 45; always thought it was gorgeous.)

"Georgia On My Mind". I dig "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" but more in its 1968 "ironic" incarnation on the comeback special.
