This is actually a pretty good compilation, Vera Lynn aside. I'd go for one of the Little Richard tracks, though I can't really see him in anything Weller ever did.

"Night And Day". This compilation misses a very important portion of his influences, though. Where are The Who or The Small Faces (or The Beatles, but obviously nobody is allowed to use them for compilations)

I think he's fed up with people going on about The Who and The Small Faces being his influences. Especially as neither band have influenced his most recent albums(or The Style Council).
Of course most people will not click on this thread precisely because they expect those bands to be on it.

But Geir would prefer it if Weller was only influenced by the who,beatles,small faces instead of any of the acts on this cd.
