the track that came on the ptomelaic terrascope cd with the magazine a while back was like an instumental nick drake (chime of a city clock style, a bit anyway). this, i think is a good thing. but, what is the rest of his stuff like. he comes from orthodox folk circles no?

Jacob is a beautiful track from his CD Southern Skies. In fact I rate Pat Orchard right up there with the best acoustic guitarist writers that there is ... if the general public get to hear of his stuff .. well I dont know... guess he'll have to die before he gets noticed eh? His best tune for me is Sorry Man from the CD Clearwater Days ... just lovely.ps. His site says that 10 Flags ids sold out but I know that Virgin Record shops stock Pat Orchard CD's ... good luck .. 0tyB0y

one year passes...
Pat Orchard is just amazing... my dream concert Pat Orchard with Damien Rice!! Have got Clearwater Days and 'o' on constant rotation in my walkman... Virgin do have 10 flags but you have to order it through there import label... if in the UK
