Synths I think they may have used in Michael Jackson's "Thriller"

I have decided to go a new direction in my "Synth Questions" Instead of asking what was being used, I will say what i think was being used. As you may know Saturday was Michael Jackson's 51th birthday and sunday TVONE and BET was playing his videos all day. I saw a few and came up with this thread.

A rundown of what was used in what.

Thriller- Synclavier definetly for some of the sounds have been documented to have came from it including the beginning sound. Jupiter-8 possibly for the bass. Definetly Linn LM-1 drum machine.

Beat it- CR-78 was probably used for the drum beat. I say this because it doesn't sound like a Linn to me. It sounds to Roland for me. Synclavier once again used for the beginning sound and Mini-moog used for bass.

Billie Jean- Real acoustic drums (correct me if i am wrong) with a rolling synth bass possibly from a Jupiter-8

Human Nature- Rolling appregio definetly from the Jupiter-8 (i think it may be a patch) Linn used for drum beat.

PYT - emulator was used to sample and playback the voices of the women ( one of them was Janet Jackson)

I guess there is a vocoder in PYT too, not? :)

it actually sounds as if the voices were sped up. That was possible with digital technology back then.
