What mix of personnel would it take to turn the sound from an atmospheric trip through wonderland to an irritatingly yawnsome snoozathon of stultifying boredom.
And yes, feel free to use players from outside the genre if you think that would provide an acceptably unacceptable combination of horribly mis-matched people.

Mark Gardener out of Ride would have to be on vocals, if only because of the hell that was The Animalhouse... (Small was 'tastic, just the rest of it was... not.) On the same lines, Deb Googe on bass for Snowpony.

if you included kevin shields it'd probably wouldn't yield any results for years and by then you'd be so bored, you'll forget music and take up visiting table tennis tournaments instead.

ping for serve anyone? m.

Deb Googe? I'm infuriated. All the more so because I bothered to stand there through an entire Snowpony show and Deb Googe was the only good thing about it.

Debbie Googe rocks!

i think any "worst of" supergroup should automatically include einar orn from the sugarcubes. that way, if the rest of the band accidentally puts something listenable together he can make sure it sucks by talking all over it.

Thanx. I just opened a new thread about Einar Orn.

Yes to Deb as well -- she threw herself into the MBV performances with gusto.

okayokayokayokay...

Bass player out of Lush, then, by virtue of him being the only one of them whose name I can't remember (they were shoegaze for a bit).
