it's probably "Funkytown" but could also vote for "Cupid/Loved You For A Long Time," "I Wanna Be Your Lover," "Steal Away" or "Do That To Me One More Time."

Haha, my grandparents had the very same upholstery!

Anyway, "Upside Down" for me - that groove is unstoppable. In second place: a tie between the world's last-ever disco hit and KISS's first-ever disco hit. (Tied because they're co-dependent - you can't have a KISS without Lipps. *rimshot*)

If it was Working My Way Back to You by the Spinners, that would easily take it. Instead it's Robbie Dupree.

It's a K-Tel record which means you have to vote for a guilty pleasure song. Steal Away, KISS or Benny Mardones for me. The Spinners song sounds better now than it did back then. I wish All Out of Love were here instead. BTW- Vince Gill is singing lead on that Pure Prarie song. I'm going with Steal Away, which always sounded like a long lost Michael McDonald/Doobie Brothers song.

If this is "original artists" as they used to say, then for me it's between Lipps Inc and Prince.

Hmm, I'd have gone Jermaine Jackson, off that list...
