What is the most "fucked up" cd you have played often while driving (in the past year)? Technically speaking: what album would an uninhibited passenger sitting in your car probably think is the most fucked up music of all the "fucked up" music you have often played while driving in your car this past year
I'm going with Sin Ropas - Trickboxes on the Pony Line. It's not an exceptionally fucked up sounding album but I bet the synths and gritty/squealy guitar parts wouldn't rest well with most people. They'd be like "damn you listen to fucked up music" if I was blasting some of these songs in the car. Or they would more likely say "turn it down/off".
I'm sure a lot of you have much more fucked up responses than me. Even if it's just Brainiac, Railroad Jerk, some crazy IDM album, or Black Metal...

I had Mercury Rev's "Chasing A Bee" playing on the car stereo when I took a young LA actor-type to an audition. He didn't say anything and I don't think I noticed it until I saw a confounded facial expression from him as some demented guitar solo started up.

I'm predicting a hilarious literal response!

I once went on a really bad date and played Mars - 78 while driving her home. Needless to say, that was the end of that

guess that doesn't technically answer the thread question, though...
Yeah I'm gonna go with Brainiac

i once got a thumbs up from a guy at a stoplight when i was blasting the first track on fennesz's "instrument" ep. that was a good day.

I'm listening to Mercury Rev's "Chasing A Bee" and that solo reminds me of the distorted noisy Sin Ropas solos. Good answer

Fantomas' The Director's Cut is a car-stereo mainstay. Not super weird by ILM's standards, but the Omen and Godfather covers especially have gotten me some funny looks at red lights.

i can't answer the question literally (no car), but during subway commutes i like putting brotzmann's machine gun on the ipod. and setting the volume so that it mixes with the train noises. especially great right when the train comes clattering into the station, it's like a solo from out of nowhere.

in high school, last time i had a car, i would sometimes drive to school listening to noise tapes. no cd player at the time.

the wolf eyes cassette on RRR was a favorite.
Probably Liars "They Were Wrong, So We Drowned." Played at a loud volume, that tends to attract some incredulous stares.

I was listening to the new Oneida the other day on my way home from work and with it being a beautiful sunny day I had the windows down and sunroof open. Got to the screamy bit in "The Human Factor" right at a stoplight, certainly got some looks for that.
