"So I just got into The Beatles, and they're P. cool, except for the fact that they're dated. Really dated. So i updated them and changed around a bunch of stuff and added in a drum beat.
Update:
This is now officially going to become an album."

This is just the edge the Beatles were always lacking imo.

A young enthusiast has tried to "beef up" these and other Beatles songs by adding his own touch, which consists mostly of inserting the drums from "When the Levee Breaks" into each song. The concept and "as promised" execution are funny, to me at least. Maybe you need to heat the beginnings of all thirty "remixes" to appreciate the project.

This project would be 100x better if it was streaming instead of a zshare mp3 download.

Each song is so dependably ruined that it breaks through the wall of badness, and becomes good-funny again.

― latebloomer, Monday, 14 September 2009 05:59 (fifteen years ago)
Don't get me wrong, I can't listen to more than ten seconds of any of it, but it's a good running gag.
― Cunga, Monday, 14 September 2009 06:00 (fifteen years ago)
No it's not. Any fucking idiot could do this. Hell, anyone could do it simply by opening two youtube videos at the same time. It's fucking stupid and annoying.

.. one of them mixes odd bits of the Sex pistols with odd bits of the Beatles. Or, the Ramones with.
Actually, they're not very good.
― Mark G, Wednesday, 16 September 2009 12:23 (fifteen years ago)
Actually, the one that mixes "Free as a bird" with "Pretty Vacant" is onto something, sort of. But doesn't quite get there.
