I just pulled this out for the first times in eons and it's Fall-meets-Beefheart vibe is really working for me. Can anyone tell me more about this seemingly forgotten 80s band? And is there anything critical missing from this best-of?

Not much to say really. They were one of the best bands who did that type of thing at the time. A favourite of John Peel too. I saw them live a couple of times and my memory is that it was lots of fun and they were pretty popular in Glasgow. They get mentioned on this thread which delves into their scene with some depth.
