Serena's outburst was the least talked about news story - I know tons of people who were like "she flipped out?". She wigged out the nastiest. The others wigged out the stupidest. I have to vote for Serena. Anyone know if she actually said "I would kill you" or something similar. To close her wigging out she said "MOTHERFUCKER". I have to vote for Serena and I wonder what kind of suspensions she'll get.

serena's the only one who actually scared somebody. and the line judge scurrying over all flustered to the chair umpire was a sort of hilarious "i'm gonna tell" moment -- even if serena totally deserved the penalty.

the ump called the line judge over though! and she was tiny so she just looked like she was scurrying.

when i learned about kanye's antics they just seemed so tame compared to silliams, who had been the hot topic for the past day. maybe b/c i like both kanye and taylor (and beyoncé), and no matter how startled taylor was, i'm pretty sure she's mature enough to get over it swiftly. plus, she'll be winning a ton of more important awards in the future. i'm kinda surprised that kanye's attracted so much vitriol given that he did this last year.

also, serena pointedly refused to apologise until 2 days later, and i'm pretty sure she still thinks she was justified.

dunno which one this all makes the "best" though.

serena only went "crazy" in the context of tennis though.

serena flipped out the most fully and convincingly - kanye was the funniest - but ultimately i give wilson props for targeting the president of the united states of america

umps get insulted in tennis a fair bit too. serena herself has done it w/out incurring penalties. the difference between an insult and a threat of violence, basically. have read a few football fans saying that football players would get suspended for sure if they said what serena did.
