I have had it up to here waiting for the Beatles to release a "Hits" DVD

You know, videos/films of the songs, on their own, without interview segments to interrupt!

Actually, I haven't. I have one already, it's called "Chronology",and it's great. There are two discs, and each has all the songs in sequence, some are well known (e.g. "All you need is love"), and some less so ("I feel fine" while they eat fish and chips in the studio)

Are Apple going to get on with this? Or are they content to let the bootleggers mine the only avenue left?

yeah I'm not sure what the hold up on this is, it seems like a natural money-maker. I kind of expected one along wiht the remasters this year, no dice.

I have had it up to here waiting for the Beatles to release a CD of THE BEATLES CHRISTMAS ALBUM.

Our Alice wanted to watch the Chron Vol 2 last night, so there she was with the sound down lowish, singing to Help, etc, while Amber did her homework.

Later, I asked Amber if she wanted some music on her new phone, She says "Florence/Machine? Katy Perry? Lily Allen? ANYTHING BUT THE BEATLES!!!"

IIRC the '1' CD had notoriously bad sound. one presumes this re-issue has all the remastered versions.

anyway.. looks tasty
