theme park is their greatest. since david scott has arrived they've become more high minded, i love them but then i love david scott so more david scott is clearly a good thing. early stuff is cutesy. duglas is a big personality, they became tennage fancluby for a bit and the last one was an almost country record.

i like their understated tuneful songs. very charming indie pop. gettin' dirty is a phantastic album.

Star Wars is a good album, reflecting their transitory period between being charmingly inept performers to having a fairly cohesive, dedicated band that weren't all focussing on their other, more active projects. The line-up does feature Norman from Teenage Fanclub and Eugene Kelly of the Vaselines who also contribute songs.
